The BIOBENESSERE Project
The “Biobenessere” Project, developed by Pro.B.E.R. (The Association of Biological and Biodynamic Producers of Emilia Romagna) in the context of EC Regulation 94/2002 (18 January 2002) “Actions to inform and promote agricultural products in the internal market” aims at underlining the intrinsic characteristics of biological agricultural products in terms of:
-          quality
-          food safety
-          production methods
-          nutrition and health
-          labelling
-          animal welfare
-          environmental protection
 
Pro.B.E.R has developed with its partners a program of informative activities, aimed at the knowledge and promotion of the European concept of quality and quality systems, with reference to biological agriculture.
 
It is a multi-product project, which covers the areas of fruit and vegetables, cereals and its derivatives, eggs, cheese, milk and dairy products, and it is not aimed at the commercial marketing of any particular brand.
The “Biobenessere” Project, therefore, proposes to act above all in an informing role, giving importance to those who are still unaware of organic produce while not neglecting its current consumers, who need on the other hand to have their loyalty fostered and to be stimulated in the good alimentary habits that they already direct, to varying degrees, towards biological agriculture.
